The best known place for the realization of the Paragliding Flight in RJ is in São Conrado, where we operate.
We are the oldest Free Flight Club in Brazil, with more than 140 Free Flight instructors (Hang-gliding and Paragliding) approved by the CBVL (Brazilian Free Flight Confederation) and by the FAI (International Aeronautical Federation).
The Paragliding flight in São Conrado is a well-prepared place that receives thousands of visitors every year. The place is safe and has restrooms and a food kiosk.
São Conrado is also known for having constant favorable winds for the practice of Free Flying. It also has a large landing area for greater safety for those flying and people on the ground.
The ramp is within a large environmental preservation area in the Tijuca National Park. Because it is located within this preserved area, the view during the flight gains elements that cannot be seen elsewhere.
In addition to the preserved forest and the ocean, you will have spectacular views from various points of Rio de Janeiro, such as Sugar Loaf Mountain, Morro Dois Irmãos, Pedra da Gávea and Floresta da Tijuca.
Many people have doubts about the real meaning of “double paragliding flight” when they are going to acquire the experience. The name is just like that because the jump is done together with the hang glider pilot and not alone.
So if you’re going to buy a double paragliding jump, it’s not because you’re going to jump twice or anything like that, it’s just because a professional will accompany you in this experience.

Yes. The Club has strict safety criteria and periodic evaluation of equipment, we are a world reference in terms of safety to perform Paragliding flights.
The minimum age is 14 years, and minors under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian and both must present identification documents with photo or passport. There is no maximum age for flights, here the sky is not the limit.
It is not necessary for you to bring any equipment. The Club offers all equipment already inclusive of the value of the flight.
Not necessarily. For flying we depend on the wind, it can be a cloudy day with great winds and a sunny day with bad winds, or vice versa.
Light rain does not affect flight. However, weather conditions and wind speeds are evaluated in real time using 2 weather stations, one located at the landing and the other at the Pedra Bonita ramp. This information is classified by our inspectors to assess flight conditions.
The two modalities have the same duration and the only difference is the flight position.
The Paragliding Flight is performed sitting in front of your instructor.
No. The meeting point is at Praia do Pepino, in São Conrado.
